Your Health

SPD-JTS offers a choice of several PPO medical plans through Humana, with low deductibles and copays for some services. In these 4 plans, there are no referrals needed when you use network providers.
When you enroll in one of our Humana PPO plans, you have 4 levels of prescription drugs as well as a specialty drug level. A mail order program is also available, where you can receive up to a 90‐day supply of maintenance medication.
SPD-JTS offers a HMO plan and PPO dental plans. When you use a Humana Preferred Dentist in the HMO, the dentist’s charges are guaranteed by contract, so there are no “surprise” bills. The plan covers preventive care in full, and it limits your costs for other treatment. The PPO dental plan has a calendar-year deductible with unlimited calendar-year annual maximum.
SPD-JTS offers vision coverage that helps pay for eye examinations, glasses, and contact lenses. In this plan’s network, you have guaranteed pricing for most services and supplies. We also work with some online retailers like Glasses.com
If you or someone in your family is not feeling well and doesn’t require emergency care, telemedicine, powered by Doctor On Demand, lets you see a U.S. board-certified physician in minutes using your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Visit www.doctorondemand.com/humana for more information.
Our wellness program is about more than just feeling good. Go 365 provides information, resources, and incentives to help you maintain – or even improve – your health. The program includes health screenings, routine physicals, healthy food shopping card, and the go365 app makes it easy.

Your Security

These benefits are offered to employees on a voluntary basis and are post tax.
Accident Insurance – is a medical indemnity plan that provides employees and their families with hospital, doctor, accidental death and catastrophic accident benefits in the event of a covered accident. Critical Illness – is a benefit plan that helps with out of pocket medical and non-medical expenses for a critical illness. Disability – is a benefit in the event due to an accident, or illness after a 14 day “elimination period”
SPD-JTS provides voluntary employee life insurance with a number of options for supplemental life insurance, dependent life insurance, and AD&D insurance.

Your Wealth

To help you save for retirement and plan for your financial future, SPD-JTS offers 401(k). The plan offers many benefits, including tax‐deferred savings, a Roth 401(k) contribution option, a 4% company matching contribution, a variety of investment fund choices, and access to your money when you need it in certain circumstances.
